Notate for Mac Installation Guide

To install Notate for Mac, use these simple steps:

1. Download and extract Notate for Mac here: https://downloads.notateapp.com/macos/releases/Notate_for_MacOS_4.5.2.zip

2. Place notate.app into the Applications folder of you Mac

3. Edit this policies.json file making these changes:

   1. Insert your Notate license key making sure to remove any line breaks

   2. If using Office365, set useModernAuth = 1 and set exchangeURL = https://outlook.office365.com

   3. If using onprem Exchange, set useModernAuth = 0 and set exchangeURL = your exchange server.

   4. If a proxy server is required, add the line “httpProxy” = “your proxy server and port e.g. proxy.myco.net:10443”

4. Place the edited policies.json file in the directory:

~/Library/Containers/com.shafersystems.notate/Data/Library/Application Support/com.shafersystems.notate/

5. Launch and run Notate!
